NALLIHAN "TAPTUK EMRE" INTERNATIONAL CULTURE AND ART MEETING
FOLKDANCE FESTIVAL
(22ND - 28TH JUNE 2010)
Taptuk Emre International Culture and Art Meeting will be implemented in Ankara with the theme of Shedding Lights on Ancient Cities.
Ankara is the capital city of Turkiye, which has so many provinces around. It is located in Middle Anatolia, as the meeting point of ancient cultures. The center of Taptuk Emre International Culture and Art Meeting will be Province of Nallıhan, and the performance centers will be Nallıhan, Beypazarı, Mudurnu, Göynük, Seben, Çayırhan and Sarıyar. The subjects in Taptuk Emre Culture and Art Meeting are organized as folk dances, poems and novels,” needle work” handcrafts competition, photography competition, orienteering, and panels on lost ancient cities.

The cultural meeting is organized by Nallıhan Municipality http://www.nallihan.bel.tr/ and Nallıhan Tourism Volunteers Association http://www.naltud.org.tr/index.aspx in general with all subjects.
Tourism and Folklor Research Association (TUBIL) is responsible for Folk Dance department of the cultural meeting.
CONDITIONS
Dates Of Culture and Art Meeting
The culture and art meeting will be implemented between 22nd June 2010 and 28 th June 2010 (including arrival and departure dates).
We will provide
Full board (breakfast, lunch and dinner included) accomodation in dormitory. The accomodation will be start in 22nd June 2010 with the dinner and finish 28th June 2010 with breakfast (6 nights).
The groups will travel by their own busses and they will arrive to the border of Turkiye with their own opportunities. The local transportation will be provided by the group’s buses. Beginning from the entrance of Turkish border till the border back in departure, including local travel during performances, we will give the oil of busses depending of the kilometers of busses for each group.
For the groups which are coming from oversea countries should contact with committee for required information and organization.
Free excursions to the touristic & historical places nearby
A guide for each group who is speaking English.
A certificate for each group
First aid and normal medical care (not including hospitalization for sickness or surgical treatment).
The official language of cultural meeting is English.
The group
Should be maximum 35 people, plus 2 drivers.
Should arrange International transportation by bus.
Should be ready to perform shows of 7, 15, 30 minutes.
Should bring 2 flags of your country to be used during procession and performances.
The traditional live or recorded music in Compact Disk and traditional costumes are obligatory.
The group shouldn't undertake other arrangements during the festival without agreement of the organization committee and should exactly follow the programme as defined by the organization committee. We, the organizers reserve the right to broadcast the festival performances partly or entirely without any payments to the group.
Important: The committee has the right to send the group back in case of the group which arrived is not the same group and/or performance indicated in visual materials as video and photographs. Committee is not obligatory make any payments in these occasions.

Please fill in the application form in the attachment and send the scanned version by mail and send the original one with the visual documents by post.
The visual materials should be VCD, DVD or other digital format (PAL system) compatible with PC (like mpeg, avi, divx, etc) Attention: Please don't send Video Cassete (VHS or Beta)
Brochures, photos, a brief information package about group and dances should be added.
Our deadline for receiving these materials by original post is 1st March 2010. The committee will decide on 4-6 foreign groups within these applications. |
